Cute Baby Cheetah
Did you miss seeing this cutie? Look how he has his claws out. He was born late Nov at the San Diego Zoo and his name is Kiburi. He was old enough to start opening his eyes.

Here’s a cute pair. This baby hippo, in the wild, lost it’s mom tragically. But it found an old male tortoise to be its surrogate mother. Gosh, did you know that hippos could look sooo happy? That’s a big smile! I wonder if the baby is running circles around the tortoise and wondering why it moves so slowly?!

Interesting. At a zoo in Indonesia, they put two Sumatran tiger cubs with two baby orangutans, and they all play together. But they’ll have to separate them because the tigers are going to start eating meat at 3 mo and won’t be able to control their natural instincts.
That reminds me of the animated movie Madagascar. Of course the movie had a happy resolution, but is unrealistic.
16 panda babies at Wolong Research Centre in south-west China. 10 are twins (5 sets), with more on the way. Apparently another research center has 18 babies now. I think this is the best pic.
